  1. Dear Ben,
    I just have got a question .
I would like to improve my English but I really don’t know where and how to begin Can you please advise me on this matter? As you know there are many materials, books, audios and videos regarding improving languages in general ,but before you know, you already have lost yourself in an ocean of information, and it does not make it easy at all.

I also would like to take two of your courses, preparing for C1 and C2
I’ve got a disability ,I’m suffering from a muscle disease ,which effects my speaking ability .Im afraid my illness is going to prevent me to take C1 and C2.

    Kind regards
    Pascal

    1. Hi Pascal
In order to really improve your English, you need to make it a part of your life. Reading is probably the one best activity you can do (not necessarily books, short articles are great), but you should also watch film/series and listen to podcasts/radio in English. It must be sustainable. If you give up after a couple of months, you’re not going to reach a high level.
Of course, it’s also worth studying grammar (I have a grammar course you might find useful), and you should keep a vocabulary note book which you constantly update and review.
Regarding my C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency preparation courses, they are specifically designed to help students who are preparing for those Cambridge exams. If you’re not planning on taking the exams, you shouldn’t take the courses.
      I hope that helps.
      Regards
      Ben
